Well I'm at work today working on a wireless router, I finish it up and go to my office. I try to get on the web and guess what... no net access. So I'm like... crap what did I do. Did the wireless router take on the IP of our DNS server or the firewall... what's going on. So after about 20 minutes of running around with my head cutoff, I talked to the Admin who was at lunch at the time, and we did some testing, and the T1 went down. Long story short, Sprint decided to test our T1 line during business hours, which brought our internet access to a dead stop.
gguninstall Sprint.

How the heck did you guys get a Sprint T1 through CenturyTel's lines? Every time I've ever called to try and get a different service all I got was the run around...

CenturyTel? Huh? Our T1 Service is provided by Sprint, not CenturyTel.

I had checked on a t1 or partial t1 for the station but since Centurytel is the local carrier, they were the only ones who we could get a connection through. T1 for $1000 a month... woooohoooo...

yeah, thats about right. I think we pay about 850-1000/month. Though u should be able to get it thru Sprint also, you would just have to call and talk to them. T1 isn't that great, the only benefit i've seen is the upload/download speeds are the same at like 1.5mb/s, its definately slower than cable for downloads. Comcast's cable is 8-12mb/s download and about 45KB/sec. Oh, I got a new cell phone, and I'm typing this out on it on Ashley's wireless connection.
