So i noticed this reoccurring symbol while watching the 2nd episode of Heroes, but i didn't think much of it untill i saw more on the 3rd episode. So i thought, maybe the creators of the show are hiding a symbol that will have relevence later in the show... so i suggest we (or i) try to spot all the symbols.
And yes... i have too much time on my hands, and not enuf detication to my hmwk.
Episode 1
I couldn't spot any symbols in this episode. Perhaps this was a pilot that didn't include everything they wanted in the series.
Episode 2
The symbol shows up twice on the cover of the comic book the Hiro finds about himself in New York
Later when Hiro enters the artist's studio, there are numerous paintings that have the symbol
This symbol shows up on a post-it note on the Professors Map followed by question marks... perhaps he's noticed its occurance and doesn't know what to make of it either.
Next the symbol appears embedded in the professor's program that he was using to find the "special" people (and no i don't mean short bus special)
This last one is the one that makes me think the creators are going to be hiding the symbol... random occurance, i think not. This is after the policeman found the little girl hiding after the mysterious Sylar killed her parents.
Episode 3
On the Comic again... nothing new here
The Cover of the professors book has the symbol on it. It seems like almost everyone in this episode has this book
Embedded in the program code again... nothing new
Drawn on the side of the chearleader's Geometry book... Or is that just a cover to hide that she's actually reading the Professor's Book??
On Sylar's version of the professor's map the symbol shows up many times. He seems to use it as a label for the people with special ablilites
Now, this mysterious black guy we see in the bar with the policeman has the symbol on a necklace around his neck. It almost seems like a religious symbol here. Is this man responsible for the policeman passing out only after a few sips of a beer?
What is the symbol... your guess is as good as mine. I'm guessing is a symbol that repersents the genetic code that makes the special people... well special. Maybe we'll find out in the next few episodes the secret behind the symbol, and where else it will be hiding.
